“Lafarge BFG” and Beocin community signed a cooperation agreement
29 December 2016 – The company “Lafarge BFG” and Beocin community have signed a cooperation agreement, in which is stated that Lafarge factory of cement will invest 200,000 euros for development of local community in order to create a better life conditions for people, to keep the achieved level of sport and cultural life in community, and to make a better terms for attracting investors.
Balkan media team has contributed in expanding this particular local initiative until its realization. The signing of the agreement had great media coverage and it was supported by the public, and engagement of Balkan media team made the position of local community available and visible to a general public.
With its long tradition, Beocin’s factory of cement has always been unrepeatable part of local community and the most important partner in all developing projects of the local community. Social responsibility of „Lafarge BFC“ is also noticeable in the fact that on the Regional conference on women entrepreneurship in April 2016 a competition for granting a land for one euro for a square meter in Lafarge Business park in Beocin was successfully presented for entrepreneurs from Serbia and Republika Srpska for the best business plan.
