“Leaders in Tourism 2025” crowned at the National Museum

At the gala ceremony “Leaders in Tourism 2025”, held in the atrium of the National Museum in Belgrade, the best in the tourism industry of Serbia and the region for the past year were announced.

At the gala event, attended by tourism professionals from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia, as well as numerous public figures and journalists, awards were presented in 20 categories covering destinations, hotels, tourism organisations, events, cultural and media projects, and individuals who shape contemporary trends in the industry.

An easy job for the journalists’ jury

– The journalists’ jury, made up of journalists from news desks and the editorial team of the portal putovanjaiturizam.com, did not have such a hard job. When you have leaders such as Luštica Bay, OC Jahorina and Vrnjačka Banja, such luxurious hotels and beautiful destinations in the competition, it is quite an easy job to choose the laureates – said the president of the journalists’ jury, Mirjana Purić-Karasović, editor at Radio Television of Serbia.

The event was officially opened by Višnja Rakić, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Youth, who pointed out that the event celebrates tourism as one of the most vital branches of the economy.

Putovanjaiturizam.com – the leading regional travel portal

The “Leaders in Tourism” ceremony for selecting the best in the tourism industry was established in 2024 by the leading regional travel portal putovanjaiturizam.com, with the aim of recognising excellence and innovation in tourism promotion and long-term contribution to the development of tourism in the region.

The PR and marketing agency First Media Group was in charge of organising this prestigious event, based on the creative concept of Olivera Jovićević, journalist and director of the agency.

Success for the successful

The gala atmosphere was enhanced by performances by the ballerinas of the ASD Ballet School – Royal Academy of Dance and the singer Ivana Jordan, and the laureates received their awards from well-known personalities – TV host Suzana Mančić, actor Milan Bosiljčić, Miša Ćirić and others.
